As the time drew near to record for this month, the thought came to me that maybe I should seek to bring new communicators into the group, on both our side and the other. With a great many subscribers on YouTube, who often ask excellent questions, I opened the mic for them to put forward their questions.
My equipment for this session's recording, was an Olympus VN2100 and a cassette tape deck. The digital recorder performed well; the tape recording was distorted and unlistenable, despite filtering and was discarded. Recordings were transfered to Audacity on the Toshiba laptop, before cleaning with CC Adobe Audition.
The voices captured during this session are not easily heard and many are ambiguous, however, the waveforms are recognisable as speech and are not interference. Without knowing who may be present or who is responding to questions, is usual, but this session highlighted the difference between speaking with my regular communicators, and new channels. It will be interesting to see if this is repeated, whether the clarity of communication improves over time, or remains reduced.
Clip 1. Asking a deeply personal question on behalf of someone you've never personally met, and hoping that their loved one could reply, made me nervous. Would anybody respond? And would the questionner be upset if it wasn't what they hoped to hear, or from an unknown speaker? Meeting the expectations of EVP listeners is new to me; whilst I am confident that communicators can bring forward messages, I can only place my trust in our partnership and hope they are able to help.
Clip 2. The question posed was, 'Do you know when people think of you?'. There were two distinct voices recevied in reply; the first is from a woman, the second an older sounding male. That anybody would be able to recognise a speaker from these EVP is dubious but an affirmation of being present, would hint to me, that the questionner was heard and the woman communicator.
Clip 3. Marjory's question is understandable, she wanted to know 'Why are you here and what do you want to tell me?'. Whilst I the reply does not provide a definitive answer of whom is speaking, if the speech has been interpreted correctly, the response of being looked over, is comforting. EVP consistently demonstrates the presence of those around us, who show concern for our welfare.
Clip 4. When I read the question 'Are you stuck' my heart sunk. Religion and paranormal programmes have done much to lead many people to consider those who communicate through EVP, to be held in some form of limbo. My archive firmly disproves this; through EVP over many years, I have gained an idea of the movement of speakers in their existence. Communicators are not constrained to any timeline, and can 'travel' into what we consider the past, present or future - but they may not be permitted to tell us of certain events within those timelines. I would strongly advise those with concern to personally research, I do not claim to have all the answers, just pieces of the puzzle. Only if more people begin puttting the pieces together, will we see the overall picture.
Clip 5. Lykke simply wanted to know the name of whomever it was that sits beside her. Whilst the EVP captured in response sounds to me like a male name, it would not surprise me if you hear something different. Such is the problem with grade C clips.
